8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) is the USCIS regulation on English translations of foreign-language documents. Each translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy, which states that the translation is true, accurate and complete and that it was completed by a qualified translator competent in both languages. We prepare translations for USCIS purposes and for courts, state DMVs, universities and credential evaluation services. Each of them decides what it accepts.
Does USCIS accept your translations? That is USCIS’s decision, not ours. What we provide is a full English translation with a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy, prepared for USCIS purposes. If USCIS raises an issue caused by an error on our part, we correct it free, for the life of the document.
