Corpus provides certified Urdu-to-English written document translation with a Certificate of Accuracy. Eligible clear standard files start at $19.99 per page. A 24-hour delivery option is available when the submitted file and confirmed scope qualify. Complex, handwritten, mixed-language, or unclear records require quote review.
Urdu commonly uses a right-to-left Arabic-script presentation called Nastaliq. Records may mix Urdu and English labels, numerals, handwriting, stamps, seals, and registration fields. Corpus keeps those elements connected to the correct source fields and does not guess at unreadable text. Delivery is digital; no mailing or hard copy is offered.
Corpus can translate legible Urdu civil, family, academic, police, court, business, medical, employment, and personal records into English.
Common civil and family files include birth and death records, marriage registration records and Nikahnama, divorce-related records, family registration records, identity records, and adoption or guardianship records. Education files include degrees, diplomas, transcripts, detailed marks certificates or DMCs, result cards, provisional certificates, school records, and HEC- or board-related records. Police and court work can include Pakistan Character Certificates, Indian Police Clearance Certificates, court orders, and case records. Affidavits, letters, employment records, business documents, and readable medical or personal records can also be reviewed.
A document name does not prove that one standard layout applies. The issuer, province or state, district, education board, institution, and date can change the fields. See Corpus's certified translation service, birth certificate translation, marriage certificate translation, and academic transcript translation pages for related service details.
Pakistani Urdu records vary by issuer, location, date, and system; no single template covers every civil, family, academic, or police record.
Local Union Councils, municipal or cantonment authorities, the Capital Development Authority, and NADRA may issue or maintain different civil and identity records. NADRA's Family Registration Certificate records family composition and includes birth, marriage, adoption, and combined categories. Academic packets may include a degree, transcript or DMC, provisional certificate, and an HEC equivalence or attestation-related record. A police document is often called a Character Certificate, but the issuing process and layout can vary.
Pakistani records may combine Urdu and English or include handwriting, seals, registration numbers, QR codes, and later annotations. Nikahnama is a familiar term, but the recipient decides which record or version it needs. Corpus translates the readable source; it does not issue or authenticate the record.
Indian Urdu records vary by state and issuer and may place Urdu beside English, Hindi, or another regional language in the same file.
Files can include birth or marriage records, marksheets and certificates, court records, and Police Clearance Certificates. In a relevant Muslim personal-law context, a file may be named a Talaqnama, Khulanama, or Mubaratnama, while a civil court record may be called a Divorce Decree. Those names are not interchangeable, and no single process applies throughout India.
Urdu may appear in the main text, handwritten additions, stamps, seals, or only part of a multilingual packet. Upload every relevant page so names, dates, case numbers, and issuer details can be kept consistent across scripts.
Corpus translates the legible written record presented. It does not decide which document is legally valid or sufficient. Ask the court, immigration authority, school, evaluator, employer, DMV, or other recipient which record it requires.
Urdu is read right to left, but accurate translation follows each field's logical relationship instead of copying the page's visual order backward.
A form may place an Urdu label beside an English name, Latin abbreviation, document number, or numeric date. The translator keeps each value associated with its actual label. Legible stamps, seals, marginal notes, and handwritten entries are translated or identified. Unreadable material is marked [ILLEGIBLE] rather than reconstructed from nearby words.
Nastaliq layout can connect characters differently from a simple printed form. The style is not proof of authenticity, and Corpus does not perform authenticity review. Dense handwriting, overlapping seals, unusual tables, low-resolution scans, or several scripts in one packet should be sent through Get a Quote.
Urdu names can have several Latin spellings; Corpus uses a source-supported form and checks it against the buyer's recipient-facing records.
Upload the spelling used on a passport, CNIC or NICOP, Aadhaar or Indian passport, prior filing, school record, or recipient record when applicable. A customer-provided spelling can guide the English rendering when the Urdu source supports the same identity. It cannot override a different name, number, relationship, or date shown in the source.
Titles, parent and spouse relationships, roll numbers, registration numbers, and issuer spellings are preserved. A conflict is flagged for clarification instead of being silently corrected. Pakistan's Higher Education Commission stresses consistency of names and personal details across academic documents and CNIC or passport records. That is useful preparation for HEC-related files, but HEC rules do not control the requirements of every school, evaluator, court, or agency.
Corpus preserves the date and calendar style shown in the source and does not silently convert, normalize, or repair a date.
Urdu records may show dates in words or numerals and may use a Gregorian or, in some records, Hijri reference. If a converted or clarified format is needed, the file goes to review so any translator clarification stays distinct from the source text. Dates of issue and registration, document numbers, stamp text, seal labels, visible QR or barcode presence, and handwritten endorsements are retained when legible.
Unclear letters, dates, and numbers are marked as illegible, never filled in from context. This prevents an uncertain digit or name from being presented as fact. The translation can support USCIS, immigration, courts, schools, credential evaluations, employers, DMV requests, business, medical, or personal use without promising acceptance.
Upload every page in order, including backs with seals, stamps, endorsements, registration details, or other source content.
Show all four page edges in sharp focus with even light, without fingers, glare, shadows, crops, overlays, or hidden folds. Use color when ink colors, seals, stamps, or handwritten notes may matter. Include both sides of cards and identity documents when each side contains source text and the recipient needs both. Upload a complete packet together when names, relationships, dates, or page numbers depend on other pages.
Request a quote when the page count, language mix, handwriting, image quality, unusual layout, repeated forms, or recipient instructions are unclear. A quote review confirms the readable scope and route; it does not treat missing or obscured text as blank.
Eligible clear standard files cost $19.99 per page; handwriting, mixed scripts, poor scans, large packets, and complex layouts need quote review.
Start Your Order when the Urdu-to-English file is complete and readable, the page count is known, the layout is standard, and no requirement remains unresolved. A Certificate of Accuracy is included. Review translation pricing for current routing details.
Use Get a Quote for mixed languages or scripts, handwriting-heavy material, unclear page counts, poor scans, complex tables, large packets, special formatting, or recipient-specific questions. Corpus supports written translation across languages and document types, but this page covers Urdu-to-English documents. Corpus does not provide interpretation, legal advice, apostille or notarization service, mailed or hard-copy delivery, document authentication, or an acceptance or outcome guarantee.
Confirm the required Urdu record and version, pages, attachments, certification format, filing method, deadline, name spelling, and recipient rules.
Corpus can translate and certify the written source supplied. The receiving court, school, evaluator, employer, agency, DMV, medical organization, or other recipient controls its own procedural and acceptance requirements. For a USCIS filing, the general requirement is a full English translation of a foreign-language document with a translator certification covering completeness, accuracy, and competence.
That statement is translation guidance, not immigration or legal advice. Before ordering, ask whether the recipient needs every Urdu page, the English portions of a mixed-language record, the reverse side, connected certificates, or a particular civil or court version. Confirm how the recipient wants names rendered when a passport or identity record uses a different Latin spelling. See USCIS translation services for the service route and the language directory for other languages.

Yes. Corpus can translate legible Indian records written wholly or partly in Urdu. State, local, court, police, school, and board formats can differ.

Yes, when the back contains a stamp, seal, endorsement, number, note, or other source content, or when the receiving organization asks for both sides.
Corpus can review and translate them when legible. Unreadable text is marked as illegible rather than guessed, and difficult scans may require a quote.
Eligible clear standard files start at $19.99 per page and include a Certificate of Accuracy. Complex, unclear, handwritten, or mixed-language files require quote review.

Urdu to English certified translation is a complete English rendering of Pakistani NADRA and civil records plus the translator’s signed certification that the translation is complete and accurate and that the translator is competent to translate from Urdu into English. That pairing is what 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) requires. Corpus Localization prepares that certified packet for USCIS purposes at $19.99/page for eligible standard documents, as an ATA corporate member (#M-189351).
