How much does passport translation cost?
Passport translation costs $19.99 per page. Eligible standard documents are delivered within 24 hours of order confirmation on business days, or that document is free. Most passports need only the bio/data page translated, so a standard order is one page. Certified translations are prepared for USCIS-purpose document submissions and include a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy. Visa stamps or entry/exit pages that need translation are counted and priced as additional pages.
Do I need to translate every page of my passport?
Usually no. Most recipients only need the bio/data page — the page with your photo, name, date of birth, and passport number. Visa stamps, entry/exit records, and amendment pages only need translation when the recipient asks for them or they contain information relevant to your filing. Check the recipient’s instructions, then upload only the pages that need translation.
What does USCIS require for a passport translation?
Under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), a foreign-language document in a USCIS filing must be accompanied by a full English translation that the translator has certified as complete and accurate, and by the translator’s certification that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English. Every Corpus order includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy and is prepared for USCIS purposes. Every recipient, USCIS included, makes its own decision, so keep the source copy, the English translation, and the signed certificate together in your packet.
Does Corpus issue visas or expedite passports?
No. Corpus provides certified document translation only. Corpus is not a government agency and cannot issue, renew, replace, or expedite a passport, and cannot issue or speed up a visa. For passport or visa services, contact the issuing government authority directly.
Do I need a notarized or apostilled passport translation?
No. Corpus prepares certified translations; apostille and legalization requirements are set by the receiving authority. Notarization is also a separate recipient rule. Check the agency, court, school, or employer’s instructions before ordering — if an apostille or notarization is mentioned, confirm exactly what the recipient wants.
Should I order online or get a quote first?
Get a quote first when the scan is unclear, cropped, or partly cut off; when visa stamps, entry/exit pages, or handwritten notes may need translation; or when the recipient gave special instructions. Order online when you have one clear, readable bio/data page scan and only need standard certified translation at $19.99/page.
