Certified Translation for Every Stage of the Immigration Process

Immigration doesn’t follow a single path. You might be petitioning for a family member, adjusting your status, applying for citizenship, seeking asylum, or sponsoring an employee. Each path has its own forms, its own requirements, and its own set of documents that need certified English translation.

Corpus Localization handles translation for all of them.

We’re not a general translation company that happens to do immigration work on the side. Immigration document translation is the core of what we do. We know what USCIS officers expect, what immigration judges require, what embassy consular officers look for, and what gets applications approved without Requests for Evidence.

Every translation we produce includes a signed certificate of accuracy, meets federal requirements under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), and is delivered within 24 hours at $19.99 per page for eligible standard certified document translation.

Immigration Paths We Support

Family-Based Immigration

Petitioning for a spouse, parent, child, or sibling? You’ll need certified translations of birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, and other civil documents to prove the qualifying relationship. We translate all supporting documents for I-130 petitions and I-485 adjustment of status applications.

Naturalization & Citizenship

Applying for U.S. citizenship through Form N-400 requires translated versions of any foreign-language documents in your file — including travel records, marital documents, and records of any arrests or legal proceedings abroad.

Employment-Based Immigration

Whether you’re an employer sponsoring a foreign worker or a professional seeking a work visa, you’ll need certified translations of academic credentials, professional licenses, employment records, and financial documents. We support H-1B, L-1, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, and PERM labor certification filings.

Fiancé & Spousal Visas

K-1 fiancé visa and CR-1/IR-1 spousal visa applications require proof of relationship, legal ability to marry, and identity. We translate birth certificates, divorce decrees, police clearances, and relationship evidence documents.

Asylum & Refugee Applications

Asylum seekers often need translated versions of identity documents, country condition evidence, police reports, medical records, and personal statements. We handle these with the sensitivity and accuracy the situation demands.

Consular Processing

If your immigrant visa is being processed at a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad, you’ll need certified translations for your consular interview. We translate all documents required for consular processing — from civil documents to financial evidence — formatted for embassy acceptance.

Deportation Defense & Removal Proceedings

If you or a family member is in removal proceedings before an immigration judge, translated documents can be critical evidence — country condition reports, identity documents, prior immigration filings, and personal declarations. We provide certified translations for EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review) proceedings.

Student & Exchange Visas

F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa applicants need certified translations of academic transcripts, diplomas, financial statements, and sponsor letters for their I-20 or DS-2019 applications.

Why Immigration Attorneys and Applicants Choose Us

We know immigration. This isn’t a sideline for us. We understand the difference between an I-130 and an I-485, why a certificate of accuracy matters more than notarization, and what triggers an RFE. That expertise shows in every translation we produce.

Immigration Translation FAQs

What are USCIS translation requirements?

USCIS requires a complete English translation of any foreign-language document, accompanied by a signed certificate of accuracy from the translator or translation company. The certificate must state that the translation is accurate and complete, and that the translator is competent in both languages. Our translations meet all these requirements.

Do I need a “USCIS-approved” translator?

No — there’s no official USCIS-approved translator list. USCIS accepts translations from any competent translator who provides a proper certificate of accuracy. Our ATA corporate membership demonstrates professional competency.

Can I use the same translation for multiple immigration forms?

Yes. A certified translation of your birth certificate, for example, can be submitted with your I-130, I-485, and N-400 — you don’t need separate translations for each form.

Do embassy interviews require different translations than USCIS filings?

The translation standards are the same — a certified translation with a certificate of accuracy. However, some embassies may have additional requirements for specific documents. Let us know which embassy you’re working with and we’ll ensure compliance.
